This beautiful pendant is inspired by the ever changing rock pools pools that edge the beach. The colours, the life and the water that flows through them.
The pendant is formed from a disc of Sterling Silver that has been hand shaped in to a dome / cup, at it's widest point each pendant measures approximately 17mm. It attaches to a trace style chain (16 or 18 inch) via a subtle tube bail attached to the back.
The edges of the dome is filed flat and polished. It's this that gives the pendant a beautiful contemporary feel and helps draw the eye in. The back has a light brushed texture.
Within each pendant are 3 small granules of silver - when silver is heated in small quantities, but forms a molten ball or granule. These granules represent the rocks at the bottom of those beautiful pools and sit beneath the enamel just as they sit beneath water on the beach. The colour is added by using powdered enamel that is hand fired. The process of hand firing means that no pool is identical - there are beautiful variances in the colour, giving the earrings a wonderful sense of realism!
The colours, each and every time take me right back to those delightful little pools, whether I'm near the beach or not! A vivid turquoise blue, a beautiful rich sea green or a soulful ocean blue. Two of the colours of your choice are are blended on the pendant, giving it a have a beautiful organic feel!*
This is a great everyday pendant, that will give you a pop of summer colour no matter when you wear it! The contemporary design will suit all ages and make a great gift for a beach lover.
This pendant forms part of a collection and matching items are available.
* The colour blend is a rudimentary process of sprinkling and blending 2 shades of powered enamel on the the earrings. As a result, the images are a representation of what you'll receive because each and every one will be slightly different from the next and totally unique to you!
