The feathers that feature on these beautiful earrings looks as though they've floated and landed on you! They have been nspired by the beautiful plumage so often seen on the Pheasants that wander the Cornish countryside.
The feathers are made from Copper and measure approx 2.9cm by 0.7cm. Along the centre, there's some Sterling Silver wire detail. Each feather has been delicately textured using hand engraving, to depict the intricate detail you'd see in a real feather. This texture catches the light beautifully, bringing the feathers to life! To the back, the feather has been given a brushed texture.
Each feather has been soldered to a front facing Sterling Silver hoop that's been lightly flattened. The feathers are positioned diagonally, towards the lower half of the hoop , with either end of it overlapping the hoop slightly. The Sterling Silver earring wires, are fixed to the large hoop, and move freely allowing the light to reflect beautifully off the feathers intricate detail.
The Large Silver hoop that they are soldered to measures aprox 2.5cm is diameter. From the top of the earring wire, to the point that it joins the hoop, it measures aprox 1.5cm.
These earrings are so beautifully delicate with a sense of realism. Whether worn everyday, or just for special occasions, it will never fail to captivate! A thoughtful gift for you or a loved one, with a subtle symbolism, it will be something to treasure.
