This beautiful ring is inspired by the ever changing rock pools pools that edge the beach; the colours, the life and the water that flows through them.
The rock pool is formed from a small disc of Sterling Silver that has been hand shaped in to a dome / cup. At it's widest point, each dome measures approximately 9mm. The ring shank is made from a round shaped wire, measuring 2mm in diameter.
The colour, a vivid turquoise blue, a beautiful rich sea green or a soulful ocean blue is added by using powdered enamel that is hand fired. The process of hand firing means that no one ring is identical - there are beautiful variances in the colour, giving the earrings a wonderful realism!
The edges of the dome is filed flat and polished. It's this that gives the earrings a beautiful contemporary feel to them and helps draw the eye in. The ring and back of the dome have a light brushed texture.
