This beautiful statement necklace is inspired by the ever changing rock pools that edge the beach. The colours, the life and the water that flows through them.
The necklace is formed of a single, large disc of Sterling Silver shaped to create a cup, with a tube style bail that the necklace attaches through. It's through the tube style bail a larger hoop, with a hammered polished finish hangs freely.
It's representative of that one special pool of water on the beach... That magic find, deep and mysterious at its centre, vibrant in colour, and draws people to it! With the outer edges of the pool delicate, far reaching and shallow meaning the water ripples around it catching the light as it flows.
The colour is added using powdered enamel that is hand fired. Just as the colours of the rock pools can change, this piece has a stunning blend of three colours, a rich sea green, a vivid turquoise colour and a mysterious and strong deep sea blue, The technique of hand firing the enamel and the organic blending of those 3 beautiful colours means that each necklace will be completely unique with beautiful and subtle variances in the colour, giving it a wonderful realism!
The large cup measures aprox 25mm (2.5cm). The edges of it are filed flat and polished giving it a beautiful contemporary feel and helps draw the eye in! The back of the dome has a light brushed texture. The hammered texture hoop, that hangs freely measures aprox 43mm (4.3cm) at its widest point. It has a lovely polished finish that reflects the light beautifully.
The pendant is presented on a Belcher style chain, length of your choice. It's a great pendant to worn different lengths for different looks and outfit styling, as beautiful on a long statement chain as a shorter one.
