This is a custom listing for Nicola Taylor for a Spaniel lapel pin.
The spaniel silhouette will be cut by hand from copper sheet metal. The spaniel silhouette will include some specific personalisations to liken it to the dog that inspired it.
The tail of the silhouette will be longer (3/4 docked) and have feathering along it to reflect the fur.
Additional feathering will also be applied to the chest and stomach on the silhouette, indicative of the curly, longer coat of the dog that inspired it.
On the reverse of the silhouette, there will be a small silver heart hand stamped with the letter 'F'. I can make a small silver heart on the back with an F hand stamped into it.
Both the front and back of the copper dog silhouette will have a brushed effect.
The silhouette will measure aprox 30x25mm (3x2.5cm).
The pin and clasp back are made from Sterling Silver.
** Hand Stamping, unlike machine laser engraving, the lettering of choice is created by the blow of a hammer on steel punches. It’s not as precise as engraving and so irregularities and variations in the text are to be expected. Letters may not always be perfectly aligned and some letters may strike deeper than others. This is part of the charm of these designs and makes your jewellery uniquely yours.
