This beautiful, Sterling Silver bracelet with wave charm was inspired by the ebb and flow of the tide, my love of the water and the restorative power it has.
The charm was hand carved in wax first, then cast in Sterling Silver to create this unique design. The ebb and flow of water is represented in the circular style of the charm, with the movement and ripples of the waves brought out by the textured details added to the initial carving and captured in wonderful detail during the casting.
It's purposefully weighty and purposefully tactile because I wanted one touch of the pendant to take the wearer to that place and that very moment... where land meets sea, where my mind seeks solace and the waves soothe the soul.
The bracelet is made form a belcher style chain and features a double. On to one of the chains, the charm threads. This leaves some free movement in the other, reminding me of the next wave about to roll in. Each charm is aprox 1.4cm at its widest point and 2.1cm from the top of the bail to the base of the pendant. It has a polished finish, with some extra high shine detail on the edges of the charms ripples for added sparkle and to reflect the light just as the water does! The bracelet is available in 3 sizes for the perfect fit and is attached via a lobster style clasp.
The unique design of this piece is a thoughtful gift for anyone who's a water lover or coastal dreamer. A reminder that wherever you are, the restorative power of the tides ebb and flow can stay with you.
It carries a full UK hallmark from the London Assay Office and carries my own makers mark.
